In May 2005, the Elmore Group in association with Griffin Spires Associates, the UK based specialists in Transportation solutions, installed and commissioned Speed and Classification equipment at 9 locations on the Isle of Man. The equipment was built to the specifications of the Isle of Man Government. Most of the sites are located around the world famous TT circuit.

Mr. Alan Pierce, Director of Griffin Spires Associates said that the local Department of Transport were delighted with the results. Furthermore, Simon Barker, Traffic & Safety Manager for the Isle of Man Government, Department of Transport said:

"Due to the lack of a maximum speed limit on some of the Island's roads, we were looking for a data collection system that would accurately record all vehicle types, including our above average number of motorcycles, often at high speeds. The data now being retrieved meets all our requirements and the Department is currently planning further sites for implementation"
